So it has been 10 years since I have graduated High School!!!! It took a minute to set in that it had really been that long, but now that it has, I am okay with it! Ten years flew by so fast!! So on November 22nd, I went to my High School reunion! It was so much fun to see people that I hadn't seen in years!!! It kinda made me want to stay in Maryland. But unfortunately, I was only home for 3 days and then I had to go back to reality in Utah! Now I am excited for my 15 year!!! Okay, okay, that is definaltely scary to think about 15 years!!! Oh well....2013 here I come!!!

When I found out that they were touring again, it was all I could not to dream of Joey McEntire every night!!! Boy, did I love him when I was 12 yrs old!!! And might I add, he still looks yummalicious today!!! The concert was pretty much amazing!!! Hanging Tough, The Right Stuff, Cover Girl, all the good ones and even their amazingly good new songs were sung. WOW!!! I would go again in a heart beat.

Hockey Game or Fight???
Ryan, Katy, Jason, and I decided to go to a Utah Grizzlies Hockey Game on Saturday. Now, I am pretty sure we went to a hockey game, not a fight, but there sure was a lot of fighting going on. It was a lot of fun. After we went to Iceberg for some decliciously HUGE shakes and then off to Wal Mart to get 1 item!!! Yeah right, I came out of the store with 8 bags, none of which contained the item I went in the store for!!! Oh well, Wal Mart is amazing at 11pm!!!

Tyler's blessing
On Sunday, we went to Wellsville for my friend's baby's blessing. Little Tyler Brandt Baldwin. The day was an adventure! It was pouring down rain here in Salt Lake, so I called Kiesha to make sure it wasn't snowing up her way. Rain it was! So off we went. When we got to the church the electricity was out, no lights, no microphone, very interesting. We all listened carefully as Brandt blessed baby Ty. When church was over it was off to the Tabernacle for some food and still no electricity. The best surprise of the day was seeing Ashley. Kiesha, Ashley and I were all roommates at Utah State. Ashley married Brandt's cousin, so she and Kiesha are fam. I haven't seen Ashley forever. Her family moved to Israel last year for her husband's work. Ashley and I keep up with each other through Kiesha. Ashley and her family were back in town visiting for a while, they are off to Israel again on Saturday!

Halloween Fun
So, as I said before, I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! At work we always have a huge Halloween lunch with food, entertainment and prizes. No prizes for me this year. Halloween night, Jason and I went to the then neighbors for a little dinner party. Again, some yummy food was provided. I think I ate too much. There was a TON of candy too, since there were 5 families there, we all brought our candy over to hand out. Those kids who came to the house made out good, with 5 candy baskets. I can't wait for Halloween next year!!

Office Mayhem!!!
Justin, the box office manager and my boss, just happens to be a die hard BYU fan!!! He wants nothing to do with the U of U. So while he was gone last week, his wife had a baby boy, Brigham Lamont Durfey, maintenance painted his office RED!!! Not just any old red, but a bright Utah Utes RED!!! It was amazing!!! Then they hung a poster welcoming baby Brigham to the REDZONE!!! When Justin came back to work, he was none to pleased. He thought that the red walls were disgusting and that the poster was getting out of hand. Thank goodness, upper management, Jim, approved this, and why wouldn't he, he is a UTE fan!!! Congrats Holly and Justin!!! and GO UTES!!!!
Pumpkin Carving with the Cromers
Halloween has to be my favorite holiday. Don't get me wrong, I do love Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I love to dress up and act silly. Okay, so maybe I act silly all the time, but I LOVE to dress up!!! Next to dressing up the best part of the holiday is carving pumpkins!!! This year we went next door, to the landlord's, and carved pumpkins with them. It was a lot of fun. I took the seeds and roasted them too! I love roasted pumpkin seeds!!!
Witches Night Out!!!
The week before Halloween, Gardener Village has a night just for witches!!! It is so much fun. All the ladies (and some guys) come dressed as witches and mill around the village. All the stores and food places stay open late for you to browse. There is music for dancing and lots of fun and cackling to be done. Then they have a drawing for some awesome prizes....too bad none of our witches won! :( This year a whole group of girls from my ward went. It was a blast.
Fast Forward!!!
So fast forward almost four and half years, Jason and I are living in Salt Lake City. I work for the EnergySolutions Arena and the Utah Jazz. Jason works for MonaVie. We both love our jobs. I have been at my job now for 6 years!!! This is my 7th Jazz season and we are going to make it to the playoffs!!!
We love to do random, spontaneous things like drive 4 hours one way for IN N OUT!!! Totally worth it. But we would only do this with our best buds Katy and Ryan!!! They are down for anything fun and random, we have the best time with them.
How it all began
It all started with a little conversation on AOL Instant Messenger. Five years later that conversation turned into "I DO." Jason and I were married for time and all eternity on May 22, 2004 in the Washington DC LDS Temple. It was about a million degrees that day and the cicadas were out in full force. The little flying creatures come out every 17 years and they decided to make their debut the week we got married. Lovely!!! Thank goodness they are edible, it saved us from having to buy food for the reception, everyone just ate cicadas. Okay, so maybe my brother Bryce just ate them, for money!!! Everyone else got to chow down on some delicious PIG from the pig roast we had. It was amazing.
Finally!!!
Okay, okay!!! So apparently it is the new "IN" thing to have a blog and well, I don't want to be left out, so I began one. Now Jason's family who lives in New York and my family who lives in Maryland can keep up with us out here in Utah!!! And our friends too!!!
